On the MetaTrader platform, you will see each symbol (FX pair) has two prices which correspond to the bid price and the ask price. The ask price represents the price at which you can buy a base currency; the bid price represents the price at which you can sell the base currency. The difference between the bid price and the ask price is the spread.
